Service Technician


  • Repairs home problems for dealers and homeowners when assigned work orders.
  • Maintains contact with division for daily updates/status reports.
  • Adjusts schedule accordingly to meet the week's work requirements.
  • May complete inspection forms, perhaps with photographs, for major repair jobs.
  • Completes and returns detailed work order forms for finished jobs.
  • May oversee sub-contractors on certain work projects, as needed.
  • May participate in monthly feedback meetings with production management.
  • May assist with pulling parts.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to communicate respectfully with all staff as well as conduct daily activity with a high degree of ethics.

Ability to prioritize work responsibilities and requests based on impact to the business.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and endure the pressure of meeting daily shipping goals.

Ability to read and write reports, as well as create applicable check lists.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or its equivalent.

Possess a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.

A minimum of 2 year experience working in a manufacturing plant environment-Preferred

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages.

Ability to communicate in English effectively both orally and in writing.

Drywall experience is a plus

Working Conditions/Job Environment

Minimum lift requirement 40 lbs. on a regular basis.

Frequent stooping and bending, lifting, and walking.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders or crawl.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Must be willing to travel out of town for minimum of 2 nights per week

Must pass background check

Valid and lean driver's license

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
