The Golf Shop Attendant should be knowledgeable in golf operations, golf car fleet management and tournament operations.
Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for all aspects of the golf shop operation at Soboba Springs Golf Course including but not limited to daily reporting, taking tee time reservations, checking in golfers, answering phones, and providing service in the pro shop.
Supervising/communicating with golf marshal and player assistant staff.
Maintain consistent communication with all department heads on daily needs of guests.
Maintain clean and formal appearance of the golf shop and other retail related areas.
Perform all opening/closing and daily procedures without fail.
Assist in maintaining player programs.
Assist with golf car maintenance program.
Maintain the highest standards of conduct and the highest professional image for Soboba Springs Golf Course.
Cooperate with guests, members, patrons, committees and staff to render advice, opinions, assistance and services as required at Soboba Springs Golf Course.
Remain current on merchandising trends, golf technology, club repair and fitting, golf instruction, and inventory control and other business areas of the golf industry.
Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.

Serve as a contributing Team Member of the Soboba Springs Golf Course enhancing the Golf Course operations in all its business endeavors.
Education / Qualifications Must be 21 years of age, or older.
Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must show strong desire to form a career in the golf industry.
Must play a credible game of golf.
Must present a neat and clean appearance.
Must maintain a neat and clean work environment.
Must maintain interest in the game of golf, rules of golf, golf etiquette and care of the course and facilities.
Must possess a personality that will make people feel welcome and that reflects favorably at Soboba Springs Golf Course.
Will possess a strong determination to continually grow and support Soboba Springs Golf Course.
1-2 years similar experience.
Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
Certificates, licenses and registration Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
Must have a valid and current California Driver's License.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
