4 Quick Apply Full-time 6 hours ago Full Job Description Summary Responsible for identifying, the development and delivery of a comprehensive training program to educate, enable, and empower Team Members and Leaders from the Food & Beverage Department to fulfill regulatory requirements while delivering superior Guest Service as established in Soboba Casino Resort's Service Standards.
They will be required to assist the department in achieving training objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities Conduct assessments to determine service gaps and training needs.
Develop and/or identify curriculum and determine effective and appropriate instructional methods.
Facilitate training for F&B Managers, Supervisors, and Team Members to enable career skills enrichment.
Measure and monitor guest service progress against established Soboba Service Standards.
Develop creative and innovative methods to promote ongoing compliance with Service Standards through reward and recognition, awards, prizes, etc.
Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with Department Leaders to successfully provide consultative OD services.
Contribute to the successful on-boarding of new F&B Team.
Facilitate or coordinate delivery of recurring regulatory and compliance training.
Assist with preparation of the annual budget process to establish adequate resources for training programs.
Assist with Team Member Enhancement Training program as needed.
Other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time.
Organizes and develops training manuals, skills assessment checklist, reference library testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
Maintains records and prepares statistical reports to evaluate performance of instructors and monitor progress of trainees.
Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.

Participate in open communication and provide feedback to management regarding operations, staffing, personal development, and operational productivity.
Serve as a contributing Team Member of the Soboba Band of Luise o Indians enhancing the Casino's operations in all its business endeavors.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule; Days of week/time of day, to accommodate the F&B training requirements.
Education / Qualifications Must be 21 years of age, or older.
High School diploma or equivalent, required.
4-year degree in related field (training, education, marketing, business) highly desirable.
Minimum 3 years Food and Beverage training experience, required.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Food & Beverage and guest service, entertainment, and/or hospitality, required.
TIPS Certification - Alcohol Awareness Certified Trainer, preferred.
Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Facilitator or similar role.
Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation.
Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to promote a positive and professional image.
Must be able to assess learning capabilities, develop training strategies, track desired training objectives and results.
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
Certification in training instruction from nationally recognized professional training association desired.
Prior supervisory/management experience, preferred.
Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
Certificates, licenses and registration Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
Ability to obtain and maintain County of Riverside Food Handlers Card.
Ability to obtain and maintain TIPs (Training for Intervention Procedures) Certification.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
